A one of a kind Borhyas class corvette, she was once the pride and joy of the terrorist organization known as the Maquis. Now,
in the less than scrupulous hands of Elysane Kahza, the Captain with a heart of Latinum, the Midnight Sun and her valiant, if
somewhat misguided, crew are off to seek adventure, fortune, and fame (not necessarily in that order) in the great black yonder
known commonly as the Milky Way Galaxy. Little do they know that they are about to venture into a universe of treachery, deceit,
violence and assassination, all in the name of profit.
Or, maybe that's the way they like it.
The Midnight Sun was the first (of three) active vessels in the Eclipse subset of the World Weavers' Star Trek universe. You can
follow the adventures of the Midnight Sun, and the other myriad of role-playing groups in the World Weavers, in
alt.shared-reality.sf-and-fantasy. If you'd like some more information on the World Weavers, check out Jason Wellman's World
Weavers WWW Home Page. Or, for some more information on the Eclipse subset of this large and extensive role-playing
setting, you can always take a look at the World Weavers: Eclipse Home Page.
If you're interested in more about the Midnight Sun itself, you can always take a gander at the Specifications for a detailed
description and history of the corvette, the Crew Roster for an idea of who's doing what and why, or the Prologue, an introductory
story of how exactly Elysane Kahza managed to stumble upon the vessel.
Eventually, I'm hoping to get the mlist2html protocal up and running properly, so you'll be able to follow the adventures of the
Midnight Sun in all her glory, or lack thereof, right here! I'm also hoping to add some more funky graphics, but I'm still looking
for a friend with a scanner...
In any event, if you have any questions regarding the Midnight Sun, or Eclipse, or the World Weavers in general, or you're
interested in joining the Midnight Sun's august crew, please don't hesistate to drop me a line at eclipse@ionsys.com, and I'd be
happy to answer them.
